The hallway turns a corner here. From the corner, one can either go south, or head west.

The floor abruptly stops.
There are no stairs, or doorway, or anything so finished.
Instead there is a gaping hole in the wall, opening outside,
and a drop of perhaps two meters down into
an inner courtyard.
