

A couple of views from the Mansion’s main lawn. On the left is Mt Hood in the distance, with
Mt Tabor, the only dormant volcano within a US
city limit [is that true? I might have
just made that up], in the middle distance.
The park bench on the right, under an old European White Birch, is a
great place to wait for Red-breasted Sapsuckers, which frequent the birch, and
watch Anna’s Hummingbird territorial displays.
