Here's a
lovely iron arch in our backyard. This shot was taken in the
winter when we moved in. We didn't know what the vines were,
but they turned out to be a dark maroon clematis (below) and a
purple flowering tomato.
The second set of photos at the
bottom is a marvelous exotic surprise we got this week. It is
a single Dracunculus vulgaris also known as dragon
arum. It is supposed to smell horrible (like rotting meat) but
ours doesn't. It's about 4 feet tall |
