The game appears at first to be reminiscent of "Snakes and Ladders" or "Life" or something of that genre --- all twisty little pathways and occasional shortcuts, with a clearly marked starting point and finishing point.
On this board, however, the instructions for each space are next to the space rather than in it, in little adjacent crystalline settings in which the words almost seem to float. In the center of the board is a six-sided die with symbols on it instead of numbers.
Two pieces are presently on the board. The pieces themselves are figurines of birds, very cunningly worked.
