You head east down Castle Road.

Along the right side of the road, there are few trees here. Instead there are shrubs, low foliage, and grasses that look as if they have been cut back in some irregular manner.

Off to the left are small patches of the same low growth, interspersed with stands of taller trees.

The air smells fresh and clean, and the occasional click or rustle seems to enhance the silence rather than disturb it.

You come to a crossroads, allowing you to go north or south or continue east. Spotting what appears to be an artificial structure of some kind up ahead, you decide to continue east.
